Typically, a testimonial comes from a happy client. This testimonial comes from me to me as a form of gratitude and forgiveness. I say forgiveness as I have had weight issues all my life. In 4th grade, I was in the fatty club to make weight for football. I weighed as much as 322 lbs. just three years ago (2022). I, like many, had tried many techniques/diets over the years and have read over 30 diet books. Yes, I would lose 10 or even 25 pounds but like my mother said “those same 25 pounds come back and go away and come back”. Those who struggle with weight frustratingly understand the up and down roller coaster ride of weight loss and gain. The forgiveness is for me not listening and acting on my knowledge. I often tell clients, “Knowledge is not power, applied knowledge is power”. So, after my 5th client lost weight and I am still a “Beach Ball with Arms” as my loving brother used to call me, I finally took a step back and applied my subconscious programing techniques as well as other techniques that I have been using for 10 plus years on myself. I finally, as a client, started listening to my programs. I reached a tipping point where I had to take a step back and revaluate what I was doing was not working. I reached the point in time where I had had enough. Add in the final straw of my doctor asked me to lose weight for my hip surgery. But instead, I gained weight. I was 302. Then after surgery I was 298. This was September of 2023. It was then that I had come to the final realization I had to act and follow protocol as well as I had to stop beating myself up for being a “big fat loser”. I had all the justifications to why I was overweight. We all know them. Enter John, the healer, to look at some subconscious blocks to address the constant weight struggle, I found these core issues:
· Being fat was associated with love.
· Being fat was associated with wealth.
· Being fat was associated with my identity.
· Being fat was associated with my self-worth.
· Being fat was associated with my self-esteem.
· Being fat was associated with my depression and being fatis a function of this.
· Being fat was associated with my self-loathing.
· Being Fat was about Focus on being Fat instead of focusing on being fit.
Through Subconscious reprograming these issues were addressed, reframed and replaced with beliefs that were more empowering. Essentially, I am now vibrating on a different wave length. A wave length of health and self-love. In addition to the core issues, being fat was an obstacle. I needed to learn that I had to work at health, that I had to follow the rules, that I had to be consistent, and most importantly to accept that some days the scale goes up and most days it goes down. Some days I stumble and start again That is part the journey. After 14 months of self-discovery, self-determination and taking action, I reached 238 with the resolve to know that 215 is in my future, an outcome that is inevitable. Hence, I thank myself with much gratitude for identifying and clearing the blocks that held me in a looping pattern of obesity, learning my triggers and navigating through the land mines of diet disaster. The key to subconscious programming is not a technique but that Energetically, Spiritually, Mentally and Emotionally you shift into a different paradigm for success. This paradigm is you vibrating at a frequency aligned with your goals. This is how I got to where I am today. I want to be clear it is never one thing that brings a goal in to reality. I have to thank myself for finally having the courage to explore the self-discovery that led me to my success.
I did the following:
I can change when John the Client worked with John the Practitioner and uncovered core beliefs that were holding John back in his weight loss journey. By releasing these limiting beliefs and blocks I was able to then add empowering beliefs. This with reflecting/mediating and brain storming with fellow healers my success came in to reality. Removing and replacing limiting beliefs made it easier to do the following:
· Walking between 10k -16k steps a day
· Eating in a fasting window
· Eating mostly real food
· Reducing sugar and processed food intake
· Being kinder to myself and my body
· Daily sessions on myself to clear limiting beliefs
· Weekly reinforcement of dieting knowledge
Perhaps you have the same issues or not, but the point is why do we
wait to take action until we get to a state of despair and hopelessness?
